The firm’s lawyers have counseled borrowers and lenders, ranging from domestic and foreign institutions to entrepreneurial entities, in documenting, negotiating and closing long-term financings, construction and interim loans, conduit programs, mezzanine financings, credit enhancement transactions, participations, and other transactions secured by interests in real property, both in New York and around the country.

  • Loans totaling over $450 million on commercial properties nationwide on behalf of the US division of a global British-based commercial bank; represented lender.

  • $170 million revolving facility to an affiliate of a publicly-traded entity financing the acquisition and development of extended-stay facilities in 27 states; represented lender

  • $160 million loan to joint ventures of publicly-traded entities financing the acquisition and development of storage facilities and office/warehouse/flex-space facilities in 22 states; represented lender

  • $79 million term loan to a development company secured by two Princeton, New Jersey office parks; represented borrower

  • Construction, project and term loans totaling over $80 million to an established development company (and its joint venturers) secured by office, retail, mixed-use and net leased properties nationwide, leased to (among others) Apple, Pepsico, TD Bank, Starbucks, AT&T, Marshalls, CVS/Walgreens, Chase and Fresh Market; represented borrower

  • $105 million loan to a national development company for the construction of the then-largest mixed-use development in West Palm Beach, Florida, offering retail, entertainment, residential, commercial and community uses; represented lender

  • Development of mezzanine loan protocol, program and documentation for publicly-traded diversified holding company; represented lender

  • $13 million loan secured by operating facilities tenanted by a regional utility company; represented borrower

  • $14.8 million loan secured by a bottling facility operated by a national consumer goods company; represented borrower

  • $3.1 million loan secured by a Long Island, New York strip center; represented borrower

  • $200 million loan to a development company secured by a Class A Park Avenue, New York, office tower; represented lender

  • Letter of credit enhancement for HDC bond financing secured by 80/20 apartment complex on Manhattan’s West Side; represented lender

  • Development of bid proposal protocols and contracts for acquisition and sale of pools of real estate secured loans for major banking institutions and real estate opportunity funds; represented lender

  • Construction loan financing with the NYS Dormitory Authority for residential housing on Manhattan’s West Side; represented borrower

  • Loan transactions totaling over $165 million loan to a development company for the construction of power centers in Queens, New York, and Brooklyn, New York; represented lender

  • $37 million term loan on a Fortune 500 corporate headquarters building in midtown Manhattan; represented lender

  • $17 million loan on office building in Hempstead, New York, sub-groundleased from the Industrial Development Authority; represented lender

  • $118 million acquisition and construction loan on mixed-use development in Miami, Florida; represented lender

  • $16 million acquisition, construction and project loan for new condominium development in New York City; represented lender

  • CMBS loans totaling over $130 million on commercial and residential properties nationwide; represented lender

  • $19.7 million term loan on cooperative complex in Brooklyn, New York; represented lender
